Today marks a momentous day in the history of our school as our new school building will be officially opened by An Tánaiste, Michéal Martin, TD. I would like to thank everyone – staff, parents, Boards of Management and elected officials – who helped us since we opened in 2013 to reach this special day. Most of all I would like to thank our wonderful pupils who make our school such a special place.
We also had a very special day last Wednesday where we were joined by members of David Saunders’ family. David was a cherished member of our teaching staff who passed away last April. He represented Ireland at amputee football. We felt the best way to honour his memory was to rename our hall after him.
